No, not referring to the magazine - I'm not talking to them since they stopped publishing fiction in their weekly magazine. I'm talking about a blogging break.
Thank you again for all your lovely messages on my recent posts. And special thanks to lovely Maria for your messages here and on my other blog - I'm sorry if I worried you. Even though I've been popping by all your blogs, I still can't log in to leave messages. Very infuriating.
I've followed advice. I've done stuff with cookies. I've got someone who knows what he's doing to do stuff with cookies. I've checked and unchecked boxes. I've deleted internet histories and done stuff with something called a 'c cleaner'. And still I can't leave messages on my own or anyone else's blogs.
Am too old for this and getting very fed up now. So - especially as Daughter's school broke up last week - I've decided to take a bit of a break over the summer, with the hope the internet stuff sorts itself out while I'm away. Otherwise, I'll join the increasingly large numbers defecting to Wordpress.
So there.
My promised post about my Christmas Kindle will be written eventually, but after such a long build up it's bound to be a disappointment :0)

I'm so sorry to note that you've been having ongoing problems with interacting on blogger.
Just to let you know, that I'm still here in the background and you have my continued support and encouragement.

Aagh Suz, I do feel for you. I know how annoying it is not being able to comment. I did all those things too to try and sort it out.
Once I'd got everything sorted out - so I thought a few days ago - I could comment but I couldn't post a blog. I tried all sorts of things and in the end I switched from Internet Explorer to Google Chrome and touch wood and all that everything has been fine (apart from my emails, but that's another problem altogether).
I know how dispiriting it is though when you've tried everything and it still doesn't work :-(

How frustrating that Blogger is still playing up. Have a good break though, and you never know it might sort itself out in the meantime!
I will miss you, but sometimes a break is all that's needed and I wish you a very enjoyable and relaxing one. And in the school holidays it is hard to get anything done! See you in September!
